Romain & Raphaël dedicated nine years to the Paris 2024 project.
From 2019 to 2024, they were in charge of the Engagement strategy. The team was created
to enhance the reputation of Paris 2024 and mobilize all stakeholders across the country
through various programs targeting different communities, including sports fans, public
officials, sponsors, schools, and local authorities.
Between 2016 and 2019, Romain led the athletes' community and managed relationships
with national and international sports organizations during the bidding phase. Raphaël was
part of the Communications team, responsible for PR, influence, and media operations both
nationally and internationally.
Romain Lachens
➟ Between 2015 and 2024, Romain led the Engagement Division, overseeing key initiatives related to influence, public engagement, regional outreach, and the branding of Team France.
He is also the founder and president of the Athletes Alumni Association, which supports young French athletes in pursuing their sports careers within American universities.
A graduate of ISC Paris, Romain continued his studies in the United States at Saint Mary's College of California, where he balanced academic excellence with a high-level tennis career. In 2005, he earned a Master's degree in Sports and Business Strategy from ESSEC.

Raphaël Leclerc
± At Paris 2024, Raphaël was responsible for driving engagement with local regions, sports federations, embassies, and both community and faith-based organizations.
Previously, he managed communications for several renowned organizations, including Rossignol, Peugeot-PSA, Téléthon, Alcatel-Lucent, the SPA, the Salvation Army, and various international entities.
A graduate of the Sorbonne, Raphaël continued his studies in London in 2005, first in International Relations at King’s College and later at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Favorite move: the one-handed down-the-line backhand.
